I think this new batch of Puppy Love and The Three Bears figures turned out really well. I cut them from a nice swirly brown slab of poplar I got from my wood supplier, West Wind Hardwood.
I've got several more items in the hopper in anticipation of what folks might want. Guaranteed if I don't make them, that's what they'll want! You can find these, and more, on May 10 at Bastion Square Market and May 11 at the Cowichan Valley Craft Market.

Loving this cool piece of poplar with the dark stripe! Gotta be careful around it because it can make the wood more fragile.
I capitalized on the dark band to make these Puppy Love duos. Although currently faceless, they're giving off a real pirate vibe. But I suppose being faceless is a huge advantage when you're a pirate ☠️
