Many of you have been asking me to share photos of my recent trip to Borneo, a place I've wanted to visit since I was a child.

Obviously, I took a great many photos, but here are a few sweet ones in honour of Mother's Day.

If you're looking for adorable handcrafted wooden pet families to celebrate Mother's Day, I'll be at James Bay Market Sat May 10, and in front of ShopMakers at 909 Government St on Sun May 11.

May 3 & 4 I'll be participating for the first time at the Victoria Pet Expo @victoriapetexpo. Although this is a beautiful time of year, I'm particularly keen on the indoor environment that lacks rain, wind, and pollen🤧. Also wonderful is you can come with your pet (you need to sign an animal waiver, however; see https://www.victoriapetexpo.com/bring-your-pets for details)!

I've made several new items to accommodate the many types of pet families. You can now add more children to your family, and second people to families with little pointy-eared dogs. Come visit me this weekend. I'm in Booth 609!

The new morning routine with Cammie after she wakes me up, then goes back to sleep!

She wanders around the kitchen, but then rejects her kibble plus (+polenta, crumbled home-made liver cookies, broth/fish water) in lieu of torn toast bits hand-fed to her!

This is the next market I'll be at, after St Patrick's Day market.

I heard you, all you Dachshund-loving folks. There's no breed like them, you said.

So for you, I've made a few Dach puzzles out of walnut, which I felt was a perfect wood for them. Thanks to the fine folks @westwindhardwood for the milled walnut planks. I'll be bringing these pups to markets this year.
